It Doesn’t End Here
We were His army moving out across town in groups of 12 in our “attack forces.” Staying in our churches for most of the day - teaching in the afternoon, fellowshipping, worshipping and then preaching at night was a chance for us to really STRETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTCH and the experience was well worth it. Our teams were everywhere . . . and so was He.
We enter our last few days of the trip reflecting on all that has happened. So many “firsts” for us – seeing healings, angelic sightings, feeling the Lord’s touch. Our team members share their testimonies below (additional written testimonies later in this Report):
The good news is that it does not end here – it’s just the beginning. The Campinas group returned to Sao Paulo and we all get together again to share our testimonies. Annie Byrne, a current student of the Global School of Supernatural Ministry (GSSM), tells how it turned into another special ministry time:
The first night the whole team was back together was very special. Some of the GSSM students and I shared about "keeping the fires burning" once the youth return home. As we shared from our hearts about creating cultures of revival, and maintaining change on a personal level, a spirit of holiness began to enter the room.
During ministry time at the end, many youth presented themselves to the Lord, committing that they would live a Holy and set apart life. God began to sovereignly touch team members and speak to them about laying down their lives, to fulfill a destiny He was giving them. There was a great sense of peace and reverence as the youth made quiet, heartfelt dedications to God.
Our last morning is spent at the beach or hanging out together at the hotel. In the evening our meeting room has been transformed into a beautiful setting under huge stars for our Night to Remember.
It is memorable as we eat together with the pastors of the churches we ministered in, take pictures, talk, laugh, pray, you name it. We finish with a never-ending fire tunnel that circles the room.
This trip is the last Youth Trip for Tom Ruotolo. Many of the leadership took time to thank him and bless him as he steps out into the next great thing the Lord has for him. Tom’s heart and vision have led to countless young people (and adults) being able to make this journey to receive blessings, training, and empowerment for the last few years. He will be missed, but definitely not forgotten.

David Roselle – Student
During service I got a word of knowledge for a sharp pain in my right ear. So I was happy that I finally got one that was nice and clear. So we stand up in a line and the whole team gives their words of knowledge. A woman came up to me telling me that God told her before the service she was going to be healed. She said before I said anything she knew I was going to say her pain. So when I released my word, the pain was almost completely healed! She was healed 80%, so we prayed and she got blasted and the pain was completely gone, 100% healed. How cool is God?!
Barbara LaTorre – Housewife
There was a woman in the mid 20’s with three different afflictions and pain in her throat. After the power of God came she started coughing hard doubling over, she felt heat then her throat was healed, she also had lower back pain that was healed and a long scar on the inside of her left wrist. The cut was about 6” or so and she couldn’t bend her hand back and outward. After prayer with her, the pain was gone and her mobility in her wrist returned.
There was another older woman with both feet black and very swollen. Dave LaTorre and I each prayed over her foot. We watched as the swelling in her feet receded before our eyes, we saw the skin on her toes folding over on it. She said she had no more pain too!
Amy Fleming – Student
I prayed for a woman with a gallstone. Originally a boy on my team, Jon, was going to pray for her but because of the location of the pain, I had to pray for her. I began to pray and placed my hands (they were burning) right below her right ribs. I prayed for the sprits of pain, affliction and any curses upon her to be gone. Immediately, the pain had gone from where it originated and she said that she could feel the stone. I prayed again and she said she felt like she was going to throw up. The stone began to ravel up her esophagus. The Lord showed me where the stone was traveling to each time and I stopped praying and I pointed to her chest to show her that God was going to heal her. Amazingly, the places that I pointed were exactly where the stone was. As it progressed up her esophagus she began to dry heave. The stone got stuck in her throat and she said that she got a bitter taste in her mouth. God then showed me a vision of the woman throwing up the gallstone in the bathroom. So I raced her there and I prayed for about 10 seconds and she threw it up. She was healed completely of all pain; she could barely walk before because the pain was so bad. God healed her though. Praise Jesus!
Nathan Rinear – Super Market Clerk
While I was preaching the “4 Kinds of Faith” a woman stood up for healing in her ear and she felt something was grabbing and pulling her neck and then the pain left and she felt a pop and complete healing. God you are awesome! Right before I preached I had a word of knowledge for right ear and neck. A guy came forward to the front and I prayed “In the name of Jesus be healed” and his pain in his ear was gone. He was completely healed.
Patrick Murphy – Carpenter
At Deus Conosco Church a woman brought her friend who was deaf from birth, and the woman’s deaf boyfriend. Half way through the service the man left, he was mad. She went out but came back because she wanted what God had to offer. During ministry time she came up with her interpreter who also lives with her. When I approached her she used sign language to say her neck started hurting. As soon as I said “let’s pray” she fainted. Since demons often do that to people I decided to pray while she was unconscious. The demon manifested his presence; the woman was clenching her fist while unconscious. I prayed for healing. She awoke with a jolt and sat straight up wide eyed. I commanded the demon out; she coughed then cried out in Portuguese “I can talk!” Over the next 20 minutes she was delivered of several more demons. Her hearing was healed 100% and God supernaturally gave her speech. What was really fun was she learned English and Portuguese at the same time. First she would say a Portuguese word. Then she would say one of her brother’s names. Then she turned to her friend and said in English “I love you.” Her friend needed the interpreter to tell her what she said. When she said in English “I choose my God” she was free of the last demon. Wonderfully all of the glory went to God. She looked only at her friend as they left with her in tears to call her father to tell him she could talk. She knew only that God healed her she never even looked at me. That was wonderful.
George and Austin Smith – Principal and Student
We asked the husband if he wanted prayer, he said no, Austin asked him if he wanted healing and he said yes. The man had a tumor in his stomach which you could feel. We prayed and it disappeared. He started crying and hugged us. We got a translator and led him to the Lord. Afterwards he said his wife is a Christian and he said he would only get saved if he saw a miracle. Then he brings a friend over and we led him to the Lord also.
