By using the EFT method for your giving it dramatically reduces the administrative costs to process cash and check contributions. We are able to process your giving by EFT through your credit or debit card. Don't have a credit or debit card? No problem - are now able to set up EFT's through your savings or checking accounts!

Estate Planning
Proper estate planning is often neglected. With proper planning you will be able to minimize taxes and maximize amounts being passed on to your family, loved ones and ministries of your choice. One of the most common methods of estate planning is through the use of a Will to facilitiate the distribution of funds upon your passing. Consulting an estate planning professional or attorney is highly recommended to determine the most beneficial estate contribution method for you.
Stocks and Bonds
The donation of stocks and bonds to a ministry can be one of the most effective giving options for you. Instead of making a cash donation to the ministry, donate stocks and bonds that have appreciated and been held for over one year to avoid capital gains taxes. For example, if you purchased stock valued at $2,000 over a year ago, and now it is worth $5,000 you may transfer (not sell) the stock to the ministry and avoid the capital gains tax on the $3,000 gain. The benefit is huge - not only do sow into the ministry $5,000 from the intial $2,000 investment, but you reduce your taxable income as well. The actual method of giving of stocks, bonds, mututal funds and real estate will vary depending on the investment is held. In any case, do not sell the asset you plan to donate or capital gains will be assesed to you. Airline Miles
The ministries of Global Awakening often require extensive travel. There are many people who do not redeem airline miles before they expire, or don't fly enough to accrue a significant benefit. Global Awakening is not able to receive miles directly due to airline regulations, but you are able to donate miles to a specific staff member. If you are interested in donating airline miles please call the Global Awakening Partners office and we will put you in touch with a staff member with upcoming travel needs.
