What is Podcasts?
A podcast is a series of digital-media files which are distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and computers. The term podcast, like broadcast, can refer either to the series of content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also called podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster.

Do I need an iPod to listen to Podcasts?
Despite the name, you don’t need an iPod to listen to podcasts. All you need is an MP3 player. Any MP3 player. In fact the computer you are using to read this is a MP3 player. There’s nothing stopping you burning a podcast to a compact disc and playing it on the CD player in your lounge or your car. It’s video / audio content when and where you want it.
