Prophetic History

     I will never forget the powerful prophetic words I received while I was in Mozambique a few years ago. Little did I realize at the time that they would impact my life and ministry so significantly so quickly. In a period of less than 24 hours, Heidi Baker, Lesley-Anne Leighton, and Jill Austin, at separate times, without communicating with each other, spoke almost identical words over me. I took their words very seriously because these women are battle-sharpened, front-line generals in the body of Christ. They are also widely regarded for their accuracy in the prophetic words that they speak.

I began to seek the Lord about just how the prophetic words would come into fruition. Then on my last day in Mozambique, during a bumpy ride on the back of a truck headed for the airport, Lesley-Anne looked straight into my eyes and asked me when I was going to start a school that would train, equip and mobilize missionaries all over the world. She told me to pray about it, but I knew that God was speaking to me through her. I knew that this school would play a key, strategic role in birthing a new missionary movement.

Right about the same time, God began to stir my heart towards the United States. Although I have always had a passion for church planting, I found the timing to be very intriguing. This desire would grow and continue to be stirred as we began developing a plan for the “missions school.”
As I sought the Lord about this, it became very clear to me that God wanted me to build a school to train and equip missionaries for ministry all over the world – including the United States! This school would be a training ground for students to move in supernatural power not only for ministry abroad (the remotest part of the earth), but also in the United States (our Jerusalem) through church planting and market place ministry.

I have always respected and have been inspired by Bill Johnson’s School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California. It is one of the finest, most fruitful schools of ministry that I know! With Bill’s most enthusiastic endorsement we made a decision to model our school after his school. Our goal was to establish in the East Coast a school that parallels Bill’s school in the West Coast, but with its unique signature.

Over the last decade, we have developed strong relationships with anointed apostolic leaders from around the world. Many of these key apostolic leaders are excited to serve as adjunct instructors for our school. From these leaders and other instructors, students receive powerful impartation through the laying on of hands, and learn key strategies to nations transformation and church planting.
