It has been an amazing beginning for 2010. We have had so many healings and people have received powerful impartations. Additionally, we continue to receive invitations to many countries of the world. Just in the last month we were invited to come to Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand – not to mention cities across the US!
While in Loveland, Colorado last week two businessmen heard me read a letter of invitation to northern India to train pastors. The letter was so touching and revealed the importance of the gift of impartation, and my role in the Church for the ministry of impartation that the businessmen met with Tom Jones and I, and committed $40,000-60,000 for the event. Praise God – I guess He wants us to go to northern India.
The meetings in Loveland, Colorado at Resurrection Church were surprisingly powerful for the United States. I told the other speakers, Bill Johnson and Rodney Hogue, that this felt like ministering oversea. The power for impartation was quite strong, and hundreds of healings were reported. Three testimonies follow:
• For 35 years a man had something amputated from his body and he could not even touch his lower left groin, abdomen or front of his hip because the pain was so intense. Now he was hitting this area with no pain.
• A woman had a neck injury 18 years ago and she has 8 screws and plates. Since then, she could not lift her arms up without pain. She felt like there was a hand inside her neck, and then she was able to lift her arms up the whole way.
• But, the testimony that touched me the most was this one. For about a year, a 20 year old man, has been struggling with his mind. His mind has been racing for the past 4 months with fears about people watching him and people having thoughts about him. There was a word of knowledge for the number 20, and his mom reminded him that he is 20 years old. Then he felt warmth, and now the thoughts that were plaguing him are gone.
We were in Cambodia and Thailand prior to Colorado. We had many great times of ministry. There were about 40 on our team and God used them powerfully for healing. We average about as many healings when the team prays with the laying on of hands as we do through words of knowledge while praying from the platform. Some of the testimonies from Thailand follow:
• For 4-5 years a woman who had a shoulder injury and had two screws in her shoulder could not touch the fingers of her hands together behind her back placing one arm over the shoulder and the other behind the back. After prayer she could without pain.
• A man had an accident two years ago that required extensive surgery in various parts of his body. He had metal in his hip and femur and could not kneel down. He tried twice and couldn’t, then the third attempt he could without pain. While kneeling on both knees lay his head and back flat on the floor. It was amazing.
• A woman had an accident 20 years ago. She had severe pain. With 3 screws and a plate in her shoulder, she could not write or let anyone touch her shoulder without experiencing great pain. She was then able to write her name, and she was able to hit her shoulder with her hand, with no pain.
